Passionfruit seed oil is pressed from the seeds of Passiflora edulis, a tropical fruit native to South America. It is exceptionally rich in linoleic acid, an essential omega 6 fatty acid that plays a critical role in maintaining barrier integrity and regulating sebum balance. Skin that is depleted, reactive, or congestion prone often shows lower levels of linoleic acid, making this oil particularly strategic in corrective formulations.
