Sucrose in Eliara formulations is sourced as turbinado sugar, a minimally refined cane sugar that retains trace molasses content. Its crystalline structure provides controlled mechanical exfoliation, helping lift surface buildup and smooth texture without aggressive abrasion. As it dissolves with water, it transitions from polish to cushion, allowing refinement without compromising barrier comfort. Turbinado sugar also functions as a natural humectant, drawing moisture to the skin during exfoliation to help maintain suppleness.
